Završetkom summita, samostalnI FM studio krenuo je u svijet i doputovao u Zadar. Prezentirani su filmovi o taktičkim medijima, reciklaži novih tehnologija, o ljudima i digitalnim kulturama brazilskih kolektiva Submidialogia, Metareciclagem, Estúdio livre, Midia tática, Rádio livre, Arca, contraTV i mimoSa. Okupljeno društvo bili smo mi i društvo ZVUK, nas dva.
On sunday at the iSummit we had the Birds of a Feather about structuring further Brazilian <-> Croatian free culture exchange. Only two people from the summit showed up, but we also had a couple of brazilians on-line (valeu cris e machado). With renewed ideas we think that this exchange is only going to get better!
During the iSummit we also participated on a Workshop on setting up free culture spaces, we found out about lot’s of european and brazilian free culture spaces and discussed how to about setting one up in different contexts. it seems that iCommons is going to create a node project just to help out people involved in these ideias, so if you want to set up a free culture space, join the fun.
Selling Free Culture – is it an art performance, social practice, good money collecting skim or just a joke? It does not matter – it worked well. The whole idea is to support the Free Traveling Radio tour by raising funds by doing common brazilian culture Camelôdromo, selling Pinga (brazilska rakija) Havaianas (flipflops) and we also sold some CDs and DVDs packed with free culture media. Using a floating exchange rate we would first sell Brazilian Reais, “real” money, so that clients could then buy our goods (our brazilian partner only accepted real money after all…
Lazzareti is the place that hosted some of the iSummit, including all the night events. During the friday night party, a unplanned teenage invasion took place, so everyone prefered to stay out in front of the radio. Many iCommoners joined the Free Radio Spirit and palyed their own sets!
We had so much fun the cops showed up to see what the hell was going on…. It’s a free radio, when the cops come, run with your transmissor!
Henrik Moltke is involved in many free culture projects, from Free Beer
to piracy and remixing movie production. Listen to the podcast and hear us talk about these projects, free software and more…
We had some trouble with connecting the booster, but some gambiarra (tipical brazilian culture fixing things with what you have in hand) was donne and we made a new cable for the antenna
In this talk with Bruno Viana at the iSummit in Dubrovnik, the first Brazilian movie producer to release his complete feature film, Cafuné, under creative commons, reflects on a remix of his own film that was shown at the event, the future of movie making and how the producer will be abble to interact with his audinece making each viewing experience unique, talks about free software and also about how education is changing in our world and the role played by Pirate University.
We meet Balbino on-line and had a very nice radio program exchange with Brazilian Rádio Cidadão Comum where Balbino played while we re-transmited at Dubrovnik in the Putujuci Slobodni Radio and then the other way around! check out the program on the podcast
